# frieNDA > frieNDA puts an idea behind a real, attorney-drafted NDA. The signer reads the terms and pays a small amount (USDC over the x402 protocol, $0.25 by default). That payment is their legally binding electronic signature, and the idea opens. People and AI agents can both sign, over plain HTTP. Key facts: - Signing by payment: the x402 payment and the terms hash together form the signature. Email signing with a typed legal name is also supported. - The sealed idea is never returned before signing. Public NDA metadata (title, terms, terms hash, price, network) is readable without paying. - Agents must send X-Terms-Hash matching the current terms, or the server refuses with 409 TERMS_MISMATCH without charging. - Networks: Base Sepolia (testnet, default) and Base mainnet. A mock mode simulates payments with identical responses. - Governing law defaults to North Carolina, with arbitration in Charlotte, NC. ## Docs - [Full agent API guide](https://frienda.io/llms-full.txt): authentication, every endpoint, headers, error codes, terms structure, networks, rate limits, delegation - [Agent playground](https://frienda.io/playground): try the signing flow the way an agent sees it ## App - [Home](https://frienda.io/): what frieNDA is and how signing works - [Create an NDA](https://frienda.io/ideas/new): publish a sealed idea and share the link - [Disclosures](https://frienda.io/disclosures): legal disclosures and how signing by payment works - [Get help with a breach](https://frienda.io/breach-referral) ## Optional - [Clause library](https://frienda.io/api/clauses): GET the approved, versioned NDA clauses
